Re: scanned image has a vertical gray stripe

Hello bat1024,

All Xerox documentation for that device is located here from our Downloads and Drivers page.

Thanks,

Re: scanned image has a vertical gray stripe

Xerox Employee, how may I get a complete diagram of the Workcentre 6027 machine?  I need to locate the flat cables for the CIS sensors.

Re: scanned image has a vertical gray stripe

I cannot find a tech in our small town. Are there directions on removing the scanner glass on WorkCentre 6515 ? Thanks for your help.

Re: scanned image has a vertical gray stripe

Hi,

If you are sure that the scanners glass are very well cleaned, you will need a tech to disconnect/reconnect the flat cables from CIS sensors (at the CIS side and at the Board side)

scanned image has a vertical gray stripe

Product Name: WorkCentre 6515
Operating System: Windows 10

The scanner was not used for about two months.  Now we notice the first scan has a vertical black stripe, and later scans have a much lighter gray stripe (as shown in the attached image).  The center of the gray stripe seems to be located at the center of the document glass (near the 4" mark).  Please advise.
