scanning cuts off border of page with content

The scanner didn't scan the entire paper pages and skip some part near the borders of the Instead of tightening the paper guides against the page to center it, the page binding out of the scan area and move the cut-off portion into what is actually being scanned vs. the actual width of the content.

HI there 

we have a Xerox WC3345 and have several comptures using usb to scan from it, all are fine bar one where it cuts off the border of the page quite a way in-  with content cut off

the xerox print experience seem to have very little control of this and i cant seem to correct it 

we also have tried windows fax and scan and that seems to have the same issue so is it driver related ?
