And change it from Dual Stack to IPv4

Re: scanning to email using office365 account

If it is any of the Versalink products you need to disable Dual stack and update the firmware.

If those 2 things don't work then you need to call Xerox and supply themn with a Wireshark of the scan attempt to diagnose it.

Product Name: Other - specify product in post

Hi, i'm having trouble trying to configure and use the scan to email feature. The smtp server is office 365 and besides i had seen a few posts here with the same kind of problem, the solution sugested doesn't work for me. This is the settings i'm using:

  • Server Address: smtp.office365.com
  • Outgoing SMTP Port Number: 587
  • Connection Security: STARTTLS
  • SMTP Authenthication: SMTP AUTH
  • SMTP AUTH User Name: [same as device email - valid office365 email account]
  • Validation Type: On Device

I get "016-781" error!

Thanks in advance!
