By default it would be user = admin, password = 1111

 

Due to the printers age (finished its run in 2008), you will almost certainly need to setup a simple ftp server on your PC because SMB surely won't work on Windows 7 or higher, or Mac 10.7 or higher. So you may be stuck scanning to a mailbox on the device itself if you don't have an FTP server to use and can't set one up..

scanning with xerox workcentre pro 255

Product Name: WorkCentre Pro 245/255

Hi,

 

I have XEROX WORKCENTRE PRO 255. I want to scan documents with this machine so I read that a have to go to webtools to this machine so I used the IP adress en then I clicked on "propriété" and get this message 'authentification required'. i have to enter username and password, but I don't have this.

 

So please can somebody help me to solve this problem.
