The other day my xerox phaser died for no apparent reason. I searched the xerox website trying to find where to go to get help and finally called the 24/7 help line. After going through several prompts I received the message that I needed to call the following day between 8 and 5 eastern standard time. Anyone else have this happen? How did xerox ever get such a high service rating? I wonder how much they paid for it. So much for 24/7 help. My phaser has less than 50,000 copies made and to date I have paid over $600 in service repairs. The fuser went out with less than 15,000 copies made followed by the internal power pack just recently. I think it would cost less at this rate to use the fedex store for copies.
