It is possible, but if you go back in and the option is still 0 it isn't likely.
Call Xerox and see if it is capable of borderless scan, it is possible they hard defined the 4mm border that applies to copies in the scan engine as well.
Joe,
I appreciate the assistance. However, it still results in a white trimmed border. I select: SCAN TO PC - OPTIONS - EDGE ERASE then three horizontal icons appear each with numerals and a "+" and "-". I move all digits to 0 (zero) with the assumption that this controls the bordering, then select "OK". Is it possible that the modified settings are not getting saved?
Services Home > Scan To > Scan To PC > Options > Edge Erase
I just got the Workcentre 6027 and have noticed that, when creating new scans, the results display with a white border that is added around the scanned image. This is a problem, particularly when I need to closely crop an image, because the resulting border removes important information from the image. Without this 'no border' option, I'm inclined to return the machine. Is there any option that allows me to turn this automated white border creation OFF for scanning?
