This is what I could find out from reading THIS

USB Print

USB Print enables Walk-up users to print Print-Ready files

(i.e.PDF or XPS)

directly from FAT-32 formatted USB Thumb Drives.

Files are sent directly from the USB drive to the print controller.

Which means NTFS is not supported on this machine.

When scanning at printer to usb getting error (( the template is not valid and cannot be used)) can anyone help me out with this???, thanks

after further investigate , my pendrive was ntfs and i change it to fat32 and it works , can anyone please clarrify if there is an option to use both ntfs and fat32 on the xerox 7225 or it will have to do only with fat32 , thanks
