USA phaser 6500 windows 7 what driver should be used for word dovuments

It is one of the main printing codes for windows. Works well with PCL Drivers. From what ive seen in my time troubleshooting

PCL used to belong to HP.

I wasn't aware that the ownership changed.

As PCL is a Microsoft printing code. If you are using Word,Excel, or any microsoft applications to print PCL or PCL 6 would be the best option.

   Yes, the PCL6 driver found on the Drivers and Downloads page for the Phaser 6500 on xerox.com would be best. I hope that helps.

is there a preference of driver type for Ms Word? Should I use PCL?
