Sir,
Thanks, it is working now.
Sir,
Thanks for your reply, i will try this and update you on this.
The issue is how the files were generated. (but we can fix it). The add bleed functionality looks at the PDF 'boxes'. There is a Media Box, Crop Box, Bleed Box, Trim Box, Art Box. Not all files have these. Your problem file does not have ANY boxes in it. This is basically 'hidden' metadata. If you open the file with Adobe Acrobat, you can select Edit > Preferences and then under Page Display check the box on the right for 'Show art, trim & bleed boxes'. Now when you open both of your files you will see a difference. The one that works has an 'extra' colored line on the outside of the file (a media or crop box). The file that does not work has no boxes.
So, now to fix this issue with the workflow. Add another Optimize preset before the Add bleed preset. In this new Optimize preset select AUTO-CORRECT PAGE GEOMETRY:
Save your workflow and try it. Should be fixed and bleed should appear.

Looking now. Please tell me what version of Core is being used? Are you using the Optimize node to do the bleed?
What version of Core are you on?
I would first suggest you use the 'add bleed' with a .125 amount with whatever method you want. Make sure that part is working as intended first. Maybe save it after this step and confirm the bleed. Then impose. The trick to impose is that by default it 'cuts off' at the trim box automatically (and this is normal for how it works). So impose relative to trim box like normal, then go into 'GUTTERS' and under the 'Margins:' section select the checkbox for 'Uniform' and then in the box under it, first select the icon on the far right that looks like chain links, and at the bottom of the window choose 'Calculated Value'. Now in the whte box you can copy and paste this next piece of text (variable names) into the box: $FFwfDoc.minimumBleedDistance$ Then save your workflow and test it again. As long as you have bleed (a bleed box in the pdf) it will read that and now maintain the bleed amount in impose.
Try this out. If it doesnt do the trick, then export a workflow and send a sample file. We can fix it.
Hi all, I am trying to create a workflow for A4 size booklets with centre stapling, cut martks and bleed ( Mirror or Pixel). I am not able to see the pixel ormirror bleed in processed output. if i am using the bleed by scaling then i can see the bleed in the output.
Can some one suggest why mirror and pixel bleed is not appearing in processed output.
I can share the customer sample file and workflow if required.
