I have attached two preflight profiles. One checks for objects that extend beyond the top of the trimbox. The other checks for objects that extend beyond the left of the trimbox. The "Left Bleed" profile actually checks the left side on odd pages and the right side on event pages. These require use of Acrobat Pro DC.
Preflight check settings
Also, the Fire if any condition is met option should be enabled
Using these two profiles, you can sort jobs into the 4 categories in your picture with the following workflow
The workflow first checks to see if there's a bleed on the Top (on all pages). The jobs are routed using the Route by Preflight Result preset from the EasyStart workflows. If the preflight result is success it means the job has no bleed in the edge that was checked.
After the first route components the preflight checks for bleed on the left edge of the document pages.
Jobs that go to the top branch have no bleed on the left or on the top.
Jobs that go to the second branchonly have bleed on the left.
Jobs that go to the third branch only have bleed on the top.
Jobs that go to the bottom branch have bleed on the left and the top.
Add the imposition templates to the workflow per your picture and everything should work as expected.
Received the following question viaprivate FFCore forum:
Customer is using FFCore for imposition. They are wondering whether it would be possible to adjust imposition margins based on whether the job has content in the bleed area. Sometimes objects like images, background extend beyond TrimBox, in this situation depending on which side of page is located those object, the margins should have different dimensions (samples for 4-up imposition you can see below):
I have no idea how to create an Preflight Profile to detect those objects on each side separately and use proper margins, imposition type depending TrimBox size and orientation.
