Adjusting for creep in imposition

Does anyone create impositions that allow for "creep" in a saddle stitch booklet and if so what is your method?

You use the Signature Shift option under the imposition setup to add creep. You can give a specific value or use the media thickness option to specify this.

Re: Adjusting for creep in imposition

I'm using Impose 5 on a C60 with EX Rip. If I want to dial custom numbers am I entering in the sheet thickness in inches?

"Impose 5" is not a term I am familiar with. Is this an EFI application? Something else?

Re: Adjusting for creep in imposition

Typically, that would be a function of your imposition software. In Preps, for example, it's simply a matter of putting in the amount of creep you want for the center spread and Preps figures out the math for the rest.
