I know every print environment is different, but I'm looking for a good preset to use in Preflight and Optimize. We have an Iridesse and an iGen and I'm wanting to run all of our files for output through a workflow that will prevent transparency issues.
For Optimize, one can use the below settings for handling transparencies.
Thank you for the reply. However, when I try to use those settings, it messes up the transparency. I cannot attach an image to this thread, but if you will please visit the two links you will see what I mean. In particular, look at the area on the left around the two gutter graphics.

Have I outlined the objectionable image quality outcome?
Yes. As well as the area under the big yellow arrow at the top of the page. Thank you!
Thank you. How do I use/apply the .kfpx file you provided?
Put the .kpfx file at C:\Xerox\FreeFlow\Core\00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000000\Data\Profiles. For the Preflight node select the .kpfx as a fixup -- see below.
Got it! That seems to fix the boxes around the transparent areas, so thank you. Is the Optimize node still needed with "Remove Transparent Objects" and "Flatten Transparent Objects" options selected?
Is it possible to edit that preflight? I'm currently using my own preflight (with no fixups, only checking for embedded fonts, overprinting, etc) and would like to be able to implement my current preflight file checks with your transparency settings.
Thanks again.
One can run two Preflight nodes is series, one for the fixup(s) and one preflight checking. If one performs the transparency fixup(s) using Preflight there is no need to use Optimize. I've included two more fixups:
