Re: Clustering Hot Folders

You are correct that the type-in number of characters is limited for the address. If one copies/pastes the address, the characters are not limited. For the below screensnap if one right clicks on the file path and selects "copy address as text", the address which exceeds the text box length will be "pasteable" into the "file location" text box.

Re: Clustering Hot Folders

One thing that I have noticed is a limitation on the number of characters allowed in the path for either a save node destination or a hot folder location. With a stock install of FFCore the path is far too long to set for either node. Your screenshots indicate that you do not have this limitation however. Is the length allowed for the paths a configuration setting?

Re: Clustering Hot Folders

You'll need to contact your local Xerox Sales Representative or Analyst. Engineering is not empowered to provide pricing information :) .

Re: Clustering Hot Folders

I'm sure you're not in sales, but do you happen to know how much that might cost or how to find out?

Re: Clustering Hot Folders

One needs the Output Management license option to have access to the Collect node.

Re: Clustering Hot Folders

Thanks for the reply, David. I don't see that I have "Collect" as an option. Is that an add-on which much be purchased?

Re: Clustering Hot Folders

You could have one hotfolder with a Workflow containing a Collect node (with the specified number of jobs for release) and Save node feed another hotfolder via the Save node. The Save node file location is the 2nd hotfolder's location. See screensnaps.

Clustering Hot Folders

We had a few Hot Folders setup under Process Manager which would wait until they received a specific number of files before releasing them to the workflow. How is this accomplished in FFCore? I have a screen shot from Process Manager to attach, but nowhere do I see the option to inlcude an image (only a video).
