Create a Signature Booklet and have front and back on oversized press sheet with 2 different off

The other option is to use the Manual Page order to define the inverted booklets

In this case the alignment is set to the Binding Edge

You can do this in a couple of ways.

Use two imposition components in the workflow

Booklet Imposition with Non-Binding Edge alignment

Press Sheet

Page Order

Enable Clustering and set the alignment to Non-Binding Edge

About clustering and alignment:

When clustering is disabled, the alignment options align each page within its area in the imposed layout.

When clustering is enabled, the alignment options align the entire layout in the press sheet.

The Binding and Non-Binding Edge alignment will align odd and even pages in the oppsite direction.

In this case the alignment is to the opporite direction vs what you specified to accommodate the fact that the second imposition component will reorder pages.

I am testing this product for my company and can't seem to figure out how to create an imposition from a variable merge file and have it imposed onto a press sheet correctly. I am working with a variable merged pdf with thousands of records and I need to create signatures in groups of 4 (each page is 8.5x11) with the page order as 2 & 3 as the front of the press sheet and pages 4 & 1 as the back of the press sheet. They will need to be imposed onto a 17.5x11 press sheet. The fronts need to be left justified or start at x:0,y0 cordinates and the backs need to be right justified or start at x.5', y0 coordinates.
