The best would be to analyse the message in the MantisDebug.log when this error occurs. It could be related to the file server or even the colour server not releasing the file lock in time, or maybe the returned file isn't something that cannot be read because of some error or corruption in that. The log file should give some indication of the root cause, so have a look of that or escalate to hotline so they can analyse this in more detail.

Failed Job: External Process

Hi,

We are currently using the 'Externa processl' function in our workflows to push and pull files out of our colour server via hotfolder, the job takes a minute to come the colour server but the odd job does not get picked back up via FFC failing the job and getting a status message 'External Process: expected files {JOB ID.pdf} do not exist.

 

Everything is properly connected just a 1 or 2 jobs fail weekly. just dont know why.
