Files not being released as a single job from Collect

So then if we have a group of smaller jobs that are similar, there is no way to concatenate those files together into one print file with Core?

Add a join node after collect.

FFCore supports what we call "job groups" which are collection of jobs that can be treated as an unit (e.g. for automated ganging in imposition). Collect is actually creating job groups and not a single job.

I created a workflow that Optimizes the PDF files, then adds a Barcode to each page, then Collects the jobs that arrive for a set number of minutes and then Saves to a specificed folder. The problem is the PDF files are not being released as a single job though that box is checked in the Collect settings, instead only one of the collected files ends up in the resulting PDF, not the rest. Are there any particular requirements for the PDF files being made into one file? Is there anything about this workflow that would prohibit leveraging this functionality?
