Re: FreeFlow Core Outline Fonts

Awesome! That worked great. I didn't know we had that option!

You are a life-saver!

Re: FreeFlow Core Outline Fonts

This would be fully automated.

Take the profile and upload it to a new preset using the Preflight component in FFCore

Add that to a workflow and then connect a hot folder to the workflow.

FIles that are dropped int he HF will have the fixup applied automatically. You can add a Save component at the end to save the processed files in another folder.

Re: FreeFlow Core Outline Fonts

Thanks for the quick response, howoever, this is not an automated process. We have hundreds of orders that come through our online ordering sytstem that drop to a FreeFlow Core HotFolder for automatic processing. That is our goal; we dont have the time to manually process every order to fix every file to outlined fonts.

Onesy, twosy orders would be acceptable for this workflow though. :-)

Thanks,

Tony

Re: FreeFlow Core Outline Fonts

The attached Acrobat DC preflight profile (rename it to .kfp after download) will convert fonts to outline per these settings:

Use this with the preflight node in Acrobat to automate this fixup.

If you want more precise control over which fonts are converted, you can select any defined preflight check in Acrobat in the Apply to selection. That will only convert fonts that match the preflight check.

FreeFlow Core Outline Fonts

Is there a way to Outline Fonts in FreeFlow Core?

Our iGen produces a very thin font when printing, however, converting them to outlines first, fixes the issue. We would like to automate the workflow as it processes through FreeFlow core.

Any thoughts/suggestions?
