Re: FreeFlowCore-5.0.0.0-PreInstall -> load a program with an incorrect format

Hi to you, I try to install these files

 SQLEXPR_x64_ENU.exe (201.466 KB) [downloaded 03.03.2017] and SQLEXPRWT_x63_ENU.exe (853.214 KB) separatly and

 get the same error messages:

"SQL Server Setup failure

SQL Server Setup has encoutered the following error:

An attempt was made to load a program with an incorrect format. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x8007000B)."

Re: FreeFlowCore-5.0.0.0-PreInstall -> load a program with an incorrect format

I would suggest that you install SQL Express without the preinstaller. You will be able to get a better sense of what's tripping up SQLS installation.

The preinstaller can skip SQLS installation and do the rest of the roles and features configuration.

FreeFlowCore-5.0.0.0-PreInstall -> load a program with an incorrect format

Try to install FreeFlowCore-5.0.0.0-PreInstall_EN.exe (1.147.530 KB) on Windows Server 2012R2 Standard 64bit English(USA),

but it ends at step "SQLSERVER EXPRESS 2014 wT" with this error message:

C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL\120\Setup Bootstrap\Log\Summary.txt:

An attempt was made to load a program with an incorrect format. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x8007000B)

Any idea? Regards Robert from Germany
