I would do one of the following:
Use Resize to change the trim box to 8.75 x 11.25.
If the trimbox is not defined, Resize will add a new one. WIth the above settings other boxes will not be changed. In addition, the content will not be scaled. If you do want to scale the content you can select one of several options on how to scale the content to fit into the newly defined PDF box
Another alternative would be to use a 2 stage imposition.
Primary Stage:
Impose 1up to a custom press sheet size that's 8.75 x 11.25 using the trimbox (if the box is not defined, the imposition will define one using another box as a reference). Ensure you set a margin so the imposed document contains bleed.
Secondary Stage: Perform the 2up imposition.
Hello, we have a client that will send us files as 9.08 x 11.58 (with bleed). I am trying to setup a process that will take that file, bring it down to 8.75 x 11.25 and impose as 2up on a 12x18 sheet.
I am stalling on the trimming down to 8.75 x 11.25. Any thoughts/suggestions would be helpful.
Thanks, Jesse
