I've now been upgraded to version 4.0.3.1 and the bug has been resolved. Thanks for your help.

I would first suggest upgrading to the latest version of FFCore: http://www.support.xerox.com/support/core/downloads/enus.html

We have released two service packs and a number of patches since the release you are using. We typically add significant new functionality in service packs.

One thing to note - the location of the sandbox will change when you upgrade.

Additionally, if you are using a service account with FFCore you will need to redo that configuration as well.

If you are still seeing issues with the latest release please let me know.

Imposition bug

Jump to solution

I'm encountering a bug with FreeFlow Core (version 4.0.1.1) where the automatic impostion ignores the set margin and pages extend off the edge of the sheet. I can't find any reference to this issue elsewhere on the forum.

In the below example I am imposing an item with a page size 60 x 35 mm using an imposition preset I created. The press sheet size is 320 x 450 mm with 5 mm gutters and 5 mm margins. This imposition works great most of the time, but every now and then I encounter a page size that causes a glitch. 60x 35 mm is one, so is 59 x 54 mm.

Screenshot A - Image goes off the edge of the press sheet.

Screenshot B - The row and column layout is automatic, so it should be best fit.

Sreenshot C - The margin is set to 5mm, so I wouldn't expect FFC to place any image, except bleed and trim marks, within 5mm of the edge of the sheet.
