Re: Inserting a Static Page

I have attached a workflow and samples of input and output for you. To import this workflow you need to be on version 6.1.4 of FreeFlow Core. Also attached is a picture of the workflow and a picture of the Rotate preset.

Re: Inserting a Static Page

So the fix to your last question about orientation is an easy fix. Apply the ROTATE PAGES preset. Pick which orientation you want Portrait or landscape for the final. Insert this preset at the very end after inserting the divider page. Then you can select the option to only rotate 'portrait' pages or only 'landscape' pages. So then all pages will become the same oreintation.

Re: Inserting a Static Page

Yes, but the orientation of my imposed file is dictated by the size of the input file the workflow is using. If I'm sending a 5x7 file thru, the imposed output is 4up on 12x18 portrait. If I'm sending an 8x10 file thru, the imposed output is 2up on 18x12 landscape.

Re: Inserting a Static Page

If one uses the Crop Box designation in the Insert node, the orientation of the blank sheet should match the orientation of the job.

Re: Inserting a Static Page

Thank you for the wonderful explanation. This is exactly what I was needing! There is one variable, however. This workflow only takes files that are one of two sizes: either 5x7 or 8x10. When the file being used is 5x7, the final imposed output is portrait (vertical). When the file being used is 8x10, the final imposed output is landscape (horizontal). I do use a static divider page added to the -1 position as you mentioned, so how can I have the inserted divider sheet match the orientation of the imposed document?

Re: Inserting a Static Page

At the end of your workflow after making the copies of the imposition, you again select INSERT PAGES.

The default is 'blank pages' and then you can change the insert size same as and set it to 'Crop Box' or Media Box to match your 12x18 pages.

Then for Location set it to After Each Page,

Then under Page Selection you change it from all pages to: Page Range. For the Page Range input: -1.  -1 is the 'last page' of the job no matter how many pages are in it.

If you want a 'static' page that is pre-built then instead of inserting a 'blank' page, you can change it to 'Document' and pull in a static PDF document or try other options in here.

Inserting a Static Page

I have a workflow setup which will impose max-up on 12x18. Then, using Insert Pages module, it will duplicate that imposed page based on the qty I specify. I need to be able to insert a static page at the very end of this document which is a generic divider page. How can I accomplish this?
