I confident this is not a 6.2.0 BUG. Something is incorrect in your setup. There are 3 basic steps:
Yes. The target folder(s) have sharing parameters with read/write permission. Could it be a bug in version 6.2.0? Do I need to update to 6.2.2?
I am using FFCore 6.2.2 and am able to save to a remote location -- see below.
Does the target folder have the correct sharing parameters (e.g., read/write permission)?
Thanks for the link! I went through the steps. Most of them were already configured correctly. But I'm still unable to save files to another server. The only successful place I can save a file with the "Save" node is locally to a folder on the FreeFlow Core server itself. I don't understand why it won't take a simple "\\server\folder" path or "U:\folder" path to save a file to a shared network folder. From what I can tell from the documentation Core does have the ability to do that. Do you have any other suggestions?
I'm trying to set up a workflow for a third party (non Xerox) printer using the "Save" node. When I put in the path to the hot folder of the printer in the "File Location:" field, I get the following error: "Unable to save the preset. Try the same opertion again. If the problem persists, contact site administrator for assistance".
I do have the third party printer's server mapped to the FreeFlow Core computer and can easily drag files to it. I've tried the complete path with IP address of the server and the shortened path with the port number.
I've attached screenshots. FreeFlow Core version 6.2.0. Can anyone help find a solution?
