I'm pretty new to freeflow core and looking at getting it to replace our existing booklet imposition. I'm trying to impose some saddle stitched books and no matter what I do I can't get it to recognise the bleed in the centre of the spread.
If I impose relative to the bleed box I get the bleed shown in the centre of the imposed file. And if i impose relative to the trim box it imposes correctly but I lose my bleed on the outside of the pages.
Am I missing something painfully obvious?
Thanks for your help!

Yep I was misisng something painfully obvious.
I was setting my press sheet to automatic which was setting it to the trim box.
This has however given me a different problem I can only seem to get this to impose 1-up on a sheet when it could actually go 2-up.
Does anyone know how to repeat signatures on pages?
Leave the imposition to Automatic (using the trimbox) in the first stage of the imposition. If you want to preserve the bleed then add a margin all around. The margin amount is immaterial.
Add a second stage to the imposition template and impose Auto Rows and columns (center alignment all around and no clustering) on the final press sheet size (or have FFCore select between a set of press sheet sizes). The second imposition stage should also use the trimbox. If you want a minimum bleed then add margin and gutters to the second imposition stage.
If the booklet fits 2up, 3up, etc. then FFCore will impose it as such (and adjust the quantity). If the booklet fits 1up then FFCore will center it on the final press sheet size.
BTW> The EasyStart workflows (available for download here) have a sample that works like this. However, I neglected to add the margin to the first stage so you loose the bleed (I plan on fixing that in the next iteration of the EasyStart workflows).
