I tried adding a collect node in front of the join and creating new groups, and using the $FFwfJob.documentGroupCount$ variable, but this didn't work beyond 10 or so PDFs, which doesn't make any sense to me.
Any ideas?
For me exactly the same ... really annoying!
Instructions to print multi-page PDF documents as a booklet. Acrobat or Reader lays out the pages two per sheet so that you can
The problem will be fixed in the next release 6.2.2.
That is correct, it was printing a "0" instead of the accurate count.
I assume by "not working" you are referring to an incorrect number for $FFwfJob.documentGroupCount$ being posted.
When I set up Collect node release condition for 12 documents and submit 12 documents as a job group, the first 6 documents (subjobs) have "0" for $FFwfJob.documentGroupCount$ value the last 6 have "12" for $FFwfJob.documentGroupCount$ value. I use the Watermark node to post the $FFwfJob.documentGroupCount$ value on the documents.
I have written a BUG against this problem.
