As we all know PDF files are seldom perfect. Core can detect many issues in Preflight, Optimize can correct many issues. Sometimes you would like to understand the structure of the file to see if you can detect any anomolies. Maybe what looks like a single image or a graphic is really made up of 1000's of small images.
Here are a set of workflows with Preflight checks to produce such reports.
There are 4 reports:
- List Page Objects by Type
- List Potential Font Problems
- List Potential Overprint Problems
- List Transparent Objects
The base version has 4 workflows, one for each of the checks. You'll need to run each workflow separately. The Advanced Automation version will run the file through all four workflows at the same time.
Hotfolders are defined for all workflows.
Use FreeFlow Core Exchange to import the FFC files.
Lastly, you'll need version 5.1.0.3 or above.
