Preflight engine error

I made that profile and use it every day on multiple systems using multiple operating systems. It was built using Acrobat XI.

If you are installing 3.0.1.2 there's an utility in the install directory called SystemCheck. Run that from a Command prompt to ensure all prerequisites have been properly configured.

I would also not delay in getting this escalated. The only path to a developer is through the hotline.

In my case I am simply using the 'Basic Preflight' profile which came with the 'Easy Starts'.

What version of Acrobat did you use to create the preflight profile?

I would get this to the hotline as a developer needs to look into this.

I am experiencing the same issue today as well. this is true on a new install with simply the lastest version of the Easy Starts loaded.

No good ones... You could try exporting all the hot folders / workflows / etc. and uninstalling / reinstalling. Beyond that this is something that should go to the hotline as it requires development involvement.

All my preflights are erroring.

I get the same message:

"failed to initialise preflight engine PTB_eerrUnkown"

Any suggestions
