Re: Print Quantity in Print node

Hello,

is there any change in subbmiting XPF to printer since Core 5.4? Now I have Core 6.1

I was saveing job ticket to a temp and then by a Python scripit edit and save it to $FFxpf$ variable. On 5.4 it is still working on new 6.1 not...

Best Regards

Piotr

Re: Print Quantity in Print node

One has to build their own xpf for submission with the Submit GUI. One can designate the quantity using MAX. The External node does not update the Quantity variable.

Re: Print Quantity in Print node

OK, so I have to make XPIF by my self? What about submitting by MAX and hotfolder?

Is it possible to update the value of $FFwfJob.printQuantity$ using for example External?

Re: Print Quantity in Print node

Via the Submit Job GUI, one submits both an xpif and a job. The xpif needs to have the same name as the job. For example if the jobname is "atlanta.pdf", the xpf must be "atlanta.pdf.xpf". Two purple icons will appear on the upper left side of the GUI when done successfully.

I've attached an xpf where the quantity has been defined (56). After you edit it, make sure to rename it to match the name of the job.

Re: Print Quantity in Print node

You are correct in that the Print Quantity field is a numeric only field. One can specify Quantity via the FFCore variable $FFwfJob.printQuantity$ using MAX (see below). One can also specify the print quantity using an xpf ticket.

Print Quantity in Print node

Hello,

is there a way to send print quantity as a variable in Print node? For now I see there is only a numer to set?
