Hi David
Finally got it to work
Multiple nodes for pdf boxes is the way to go and i had both variables set to width! which of course made the width and the height the same measurement.
Thanks for all your help on this
Its much appreciated

Hi David
Ive finally got some time to test this, i tried multiple resize nodes, which have an affect, this is for business cards, the size i have put through is 85mm x 55mm, what it has done though is resize all boxes to 85mm x 85mm, so its almost like its taken the longest measurement to resize to, i also tried this using the setting resize all Pdf Boxes which gave me the same result without having to use multiple nodes.
Thanks
Rob
Try this instead (see screensnap). The size width and height are remapped to the TrimBox width and height using FFCore variable (in this case $FFwfDoc.pdfTrimWidth$ and $FFwfDoc.pdfTrimHeight$). You may need to have multiple resize nodes to reduce all the PDF boxes to the Trim Box size.
Hi There
Thanks for the reply, ive put all the setting in , and i think it should work, but i still have 2mm bleed on the resulting low res file, its definately set to the trim which is what i want it to crop to, i cant seem to attach images here which might have helped, for this job ive added a business card (finished size 55 x 85) with 2 mm bleed (59 x 89) and the low res still shows the bleed and the trim box
Thanks
Rob
The Resize node should be what you need. I am going to make the assumption that the "trim box" represents the size you desire. In that case, set:
1. Resize all pdf boxes -- by percent
2. Proportionally Resize to Trim Box -- width/height = 100%
3. Content Scaling None
4. Center alignment
Hi There
I have a workflow for business cards that allows me to impose any size business card 21 up to an SRA3 sheet, that works great.
In the the workflow the file goes in 2 destinations , one for the imposition and one for a low res proof
The files all start out with 2mm bleed, which is great for the imposition, but i want to remove the bleed from the low res proof.
Im struggling to find a way to do it in freeflow
Any help appreciated
Rob
