Rotating a file without the Rotate Node

You can impose using Automatic orientation for the press sheet and a Layout of Auto Rows and Columns with the 90 degree option selected. Follow this with a Preflight node with one of the attached fixups. See screensnaps

Does anyone know if it's possible for FFC to auto-rotate a file without using the Rotate Node? I want FFC to do a "best fit" when imposing a file; if I set the press sheet to Automatic, it will rotate the press sheet for best fit, but that won't work for our offset presses. I want to keep the press sheet fixed as Landscape or Portrait (depending on the offset press it's going to) and have FFC rotate the file insead of the press sheet, without using the Rotate Node.
