Re: SQL error during install

The credentials in that dialog are for the SQL Server administrator (not a windows administrator).

That was defined when SQL Server was installed - the password we need is for the sa account in SQL Server.

Re: SQL error during install

Thanks Javier

Hmmm.  OK so I login in as administrator but in the administrator account box I must use sa correct?

And then the password for administrator that I just logged in as, correct?

It isn't working for me.

Must I create a user named sa in the User list?  That doesn't seem right but...

I'll keep at it.  I parsed through the log but it doesn't really pinpoint the issue

Re: SQL error during install

I'll spare you the long version of the story... you have to use sa for the username and the password for that account for the password. You must install using that account.

apologies for the confusion

SQL error during install

Trying to install Freeflow Core but getting an error when it is linking to a SQL database.  It prompts for a user name/password.  The Database Instance ID is SQLEXPRESS and the Host Name is LOCALHOST.

Yet no matter what user or password I try I get an error that says "Unable to cofirm database connection.  Please check database setup and try again"

Anyone seen this?  Thoughts?

Rob
