You should be able to build a workflow to identify tab pages.
However, translating that to job ticketing will require some scripting for a couple of reasons:
So, it's a question of how we identify the pages.
If we can do it based on the built-in page selection controls then we can target the pages for modification (resize, offset content, etc).
However, in order to drive the print component you will need an external component with a small script to extract page information and store a page range to identify the tabs in the print component
Similarly, preflight opens the door to additional page selection (example below). This also would require a script to convert the preflight information into a page range for the print component.
If you are ot comfortable with scripting, you can engage the professional services team for your geography.
We have a number of documents that have built in tabs, and often get custom docs with tabs.
Can i build a single work flow that will identify tab pages?
We use FreeFlow 9.0 right now and we go to the Special pages tab, add the pages where tabs exsist and then go to image edit and shift the image .70 on the X axsis.
Is this something that would require those tab pages to be created on the proper page size when the doc is being created in order for this to work? (currently they are done on 8.5 x 11 thats why we do the .70 page shift).
