To reserver a /25" margin on the left and right you should turn uniform margins off and define a .25" margin on the left and right

To have the extra space on the outside of the layout (whether spread evenly between both sides or to one side) you should turn on Clustering.

The Cell Clustering option is in the Layout tab.

Set the layout to binding edge if you want the clustered layout to one side

I've spent most of the day exploring options, but can't seem to get what I want.

I'm trying to create an imposition for a web press.  The issue I have is twofold:

1.  How can I "Reserve" 1/4" of the press sheet to accomodate marks placed by the press?  For instance, if printing on a 19.5" web, I want the imposed pages to only use the middle 19"

2.  When placing pages 2up or 3up, I ask for 0 gutter, but seem to get the pages split evenly across the page.  If the imposed pages only consume 18" of a 19"web, I want that last inch to be blank.
