NFR licenses behave differently than customer licenses. Existing 3.0 customers may update their licenses to 4.0 by entering their current S/N and activation key(s) on the software activation portal (SWAP) and selecting “re-download” license (not RESET).

For internal, NFR users:

  • In the US and Canada, you must order the 321K12420 (FreeFlow Core Not for Resale (NFR) Upgrade to v4.0 Enablement) Kit from MAPS. The kit contains a new SWAP activation key and documentation required to upgrade your current NFR license to version 4.0.
  •  In other regions, including Europe, contact the licensing center directly to obtain a new license.

Upgrade Core 3.0 to 4.0 licence problem

Jump to solution

Hi

I had a NFR licence for FFC 3.0, I upgraded to FFC 4.0 and at the same time moved it to a different PC. I obtained a licence from the portal and loaded the DAT file. Everything has been fine for a few weeks until now, I'm now getting a "Wrong Version" message:

I've tried to download a new licence from the Portal, but it won't let me.

Seems I still have a V3 licence and can't upgrade it to V4. Am I missing something? I also now want to upgrade to 4.0.0.1 so want to get it sorted, quite apart from not being able to use it. Will I have the same problem again?

Thanks

Phil
