Re: Using MAX-Informations for a Printjob

you can do most settings using an XPIF We have a few stock XPIFs for Size, Simplex, Duplex, Color and Black.
As for passing the stock that can be part of the CSV and has its own spot in MAX settings, 4th spot down is Paper Stock Name.

One can use the xpif option in MAX. The xpif file can be used to define media and finished required. See screensnap and attached xpif example.

Using MAX-Informations for a Printjob

We would like to setup a Workflow where the MAX-file contains some printing informations such as duplex printing (yes/no), papertype (for example "colorcopy 90 gsm"), colormode (true = color; false = BW), stapling (yes/no).

Is there a smart way (especially for the paper) to add these requirements into the workflow/printer?

Many thanks in advance for your ideas! :-)
