In FFProdM I could setup an email and add whatever info I wanted to it to pass to my art department.
Now, when preflight check fails I get this:
"FreeFlow Core Job 184 passed preflight with 0 fixup(s) applied, 0 warning(s), and 1 error(s)."
No order number, no attachment to show what has failed...
So, I am asking, is there a way we can manipulate that notification to add our order number so that when email does go out to my art department, they know what to do.

At the moment there's no way to add that sort of infomration in an email component in the workflow. The external component is the only way to enable this level of customization on the notifications.
To setup email, install Blat (or any other CLI email client) in the FFCore server and configure it to use your SMTP server.

The preflight report can be sent using the following blat option:
$FFwfJob.preflightReportUri$ is the path to the preflight report.
I am using Blat.
I have added that -attach option with the parameter you mentioned.
Im getting this error:
"C:\Xerox\FreeFlow\Core\00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000000\Platform\Spool\6f4aab08-1251-4f85-9225-87c653819cfa\REPORT_ _63613851204806.pdf" returns exit code 1.
Not sure how to resolve this.
I am used to use the cli: swithmail, it is easy to use, it has a wizard, and it has worked ok every time I used it. I also have had some issues using blat.
