If your FreeFlow Core configuration includes the Variable Data optional module, you will need to obtain a new license upon upgrading to version 5.1. If your configuration does not include the Variable Data module, you do not need to obtain a new license when upgrading from version 5.x to 5.1.
The process to obtain a license is different depending upon the manner in which you obtained your original license.
If you obtained your original license from the Xerox Software Activation portal, you may obtain a new license by returning to the portal at: https://www.xeroxlicensing.xerox.com/Activation/ and performing the following steps:
- Enter the Variable Data module Activation Key. Click [Next].
- Select ‘Retrieve current license file.’ Click [Next].
- Select ‘Download license file’ and save the file to the desktop.
If you obtained your license from a Xerox Licensing Center, local Xerox Representative or Xerox Partner, contact your local Customer Support Center for assistance.
After you obtain the file, it may be uploaded in FreeFlow Core using the Core License tool located at [Start > All Programs > Xerox > FreeFlow Core].
