Version that works in windows 10

Any tips on how to get the freeflow sowftware to work on windows 10?  I had to set up a new computer and when I run the install program, it seems to go fine, but when I try to run the program, nothing happens.  I tried with all the compatability modes and running as an administrator but nothing seems to work.

Did you open a supported browser (e.g., Microsoft Edge) on the PC where FFCore is loaded and enter the following url "localhost/FreeFlowCore/" ? The login screen should then appear.

Re: Version that works in windows 10

I had not done that previously.

When I do that, I get a message saying the localhost refused to connect.

Lets step back, how can I tell if the FFCore is installed?  When I look in the control panel I see AccXES V16.0.4.6 is installed.  I see FreeFlow Accxes Control is installed, V 1.5.  I have no Free Flow software I can run, only AccXES.

In the Control Panel/ Programs and Features, one should see Xerox Freeflow Core.

On a side note, how do I insert a picture here?  I cannot copy and paste it and I do not want to insert a video.

Re: Version that works in windows 10

And that is now required to retreve scans from a 6204 plotter?

The readme file says I have to log into the FF core befor installing.  How do I log into the FF core?

From the ReadMe.txt file.

Install:
Log in to FreeFlow Core before installing.

It also mentions installing based on license level.  How do I determine that?

Thank you for your help, I hope we can resolve this.  Right now I cannot retreive any scans from that plotter.

Re: Version that works in windows 10

Freeflow Core is a pre-press application. It does not contain functionality for scan retrieval from plotters. If you do not have a FFCore license please contact Xerox support.

Re: Version that works in windows 10

Thank you for the feed back.  Is it required to retreive scans from a 6204 scanner/plotter?  That is all I need to do.

Re: Version that works in windows 10

FFCore does not have functionality for retrieval of scans from a plotter. I think you are looking for another Xerox product. Unfortuneately I do not know what that product is.
