Workflow builder does not have a option for bypass tray?

This is a slightly different model around job ticketing.

We ticket the available media regardless of tray. Details depend on the engine but you would typically assign a media to a tray (including the bypass tray) and we would specify the media for job submission.

That would allow you to (among other things):

• use multiple media on the bypass tray while ensuring that jobs only print when the required media is loaded
• use multiple trays with the same media for printing a single job
• load the required media on any available tray

You should be able to do the media assignment in the DFE (although details would be a little afield of my experience)

Thank you this makes sense now.  Our xerox sales rep didnt bother to mention that and we have been trying to manually assign sizes to trays.

FFPS has the required options in the queue settings. Those are not currently advertised to upstream clients such as FFCore.

You should setup a dedicated queue in FFPrint Server.

Does we need a freeflow printer server to change the finishing options in the DFE?  Also the dedicated queue or virtual printer is that set in place at the print server or at the freeflow process manager end?

We display the finishing options that are provided by the DFE (since those are the options that the DFE will accept in the print ticket).

The way to automate this would be to setup a dedicated queue or virtual printer that would be set to print to the bypass tray.

Hello,

I have a workflow that was created and the end job is to send postcards to a XC560.  Workflow builder does not have a print job setup option to send to bypass tray.  The only options i see in output location are the following

Printer default

Top Tray 

Stacker 

Automatic

What would be the best soulution for this setup.  Right now it is a very manual process to print out post cards from freeflow.
