The Cut & Stack with the Number of Sheets defined as 1 in FFCore is the same as the alternating imposition in Process Manager
Hello,
there doesn't seem to be an option to do a duplex alternating workflow, which was possible in freeflow process manager.
there is sequential, but that ignores a duplex file, and i can't use cut & stack cause i want the impose next to each other.
what i want to achieve:
24 pages PDF (12 duplex jobs) in 1 file, all unique items.
(the imposition will be random, since i'm gonna toss in all kinds of sizes) lets say this one imposes 6 up. 6 columns 1 row:
then i want my press sheet to look like the following:
front of the imposed sheet:
page 1 | page 3 | page 5 | page 7 | page 9 | page 11
back of the imposed sheet:
page 12 | page 10 | page 8 | page 6 | page 4 | page 2
^ this is the first 2 pages 1 print sheet since it's a duplex job.
then the next 2 sheets look like this:
front of the second imposed sheet:
page 13 | page 15 | page 17 | page 19 | page 21 | page 23
back of the second imposed sheet:
page 24 | page 22 | page 20 | page 18 | page 16 | page 14
in total i have 4 pages which will be printed 2 sheets.
hope this is clear, else i'll can explain a bit better with pictures. Hope someone could explain me if this is possible, and how, since the alternating imposition optioin isn't in freeflow core?
Thanks in advance,
Kevin
