Yes - that's the expected behavior per the settings you have specified.
This page order:
Means that the imposition will take pages 1,3,5 and 7 from the document and impose them. It will then increment by 1 and take pages 2,4,6,8 and impose them. After that it will increment again and impose pages 3,5,7,9.
I expect that you will not want to have the same pages imposed multiple times so that will be a problem. There are two ways to correct this:
- Add 4 more entries to the manual page order and enable the Auto Increment option (which will be set to 8). This will impose pages 1,3,5,7 on the first page, pages 2,4,6,8 on the second page, pages 9,11,13,15 on the third page and so on.
- Set the Page Order to Cut and Stack and the Sheets per stack to 1
