FFC 6.1.1 working fine again. Now I will imediately add my email account to Admin profile
As this is my local install for testing I removed FFC and SQL 2019 completely and now try to start from scratch. Hoping that it will not remember any user or settings from prvious installed version. That was my problem it always came back with my original admionstraor account and did not accept my PSWD. Hope this will work.
The last resort is to uninstall and re-install FFCore. One can save the FFcore database information (there is a GUI prompt) during the uninstall.
If you're not able to get into your system again I would suggest you contact your local Xerox support.
Remember to register an e-mail address for your FF Core users when you get logged in again.
No luck, same message after repair install.
You can run a Repair using the installer. It will start the installation but it will ask you if you would like to repair. After it is finished it will ask for a reboot and then you will be back with the old password which you will need to remember.
If you have access to the server you should take a Clone backup using the FF Core Exchange first. Just to be sure. I have done this repair on two systems without problems.
The Forget Password button you are looking for will only be visible if you have an e-mail registered on the User that has been logged out. Be sure to save an e-mail on your admin user when you get back up again.
This button was new with v.6 so after ugrading to version 6 it is important to add an e-mail address to at least the Admin account.
Account locked due to too many failed login attempts. Please press "Forgot Password" to unlock Account or contact Administrator
I cannot find the FORGOT PASSWORD button and I am the administrator of FFC configuration.
What can I do to regain access?
