Re: page numbering mixed duplex and simplex

There are two possibilities...

Build a very long workflow that does the same as the post above.

Another alternative would be to submit a PDF/vt file with a PDF/vt record for each tab. Then add a watermark with the PDF VT record number to all of the pages for which you want the same number. The PDF/vt record number variable (syntax in Help) will increment with every PDF/vt record so all 100 pages can get the same number for the first pad.

Hi,

Many thanks for that. That works well, can you advise how I can now get it to loop around for 100 pads.

Re: page numbering mixed duplex and simplex

This should be pretty straight forward. The workflow will require three separate page numbering components as follows

Each of the components will place one of the required page numbers for each set using page intervals

Change the start page for 3 and 4 for the other two Page Numbers components in the workflow.

Lastly, you need to ensure that the page numbers are incremented every time a number is placed (vs incrementing based on the number of PDF pages). That option is in the Contents tab

page numbering for mixed duplex and simplex documents

Hi, I'm new to Core, could you help. I have a PDF containing 4 pages. A customer requires page numbers putting onto the PDF for 3 part NCR.

The first two pages are duplex, number 1 on the front and the second duplex page is instructions.

The third and fourth pages are simplex and also require the number 1.

The process then starts again from number two.

Can you help me with the workflow please.
