when authentication is turned on, you will not have access to tools menu, even with admin credentials.
Go to webUI and disable authentication, return to machine, make changes from 'tools menu' then relook after.

I did log in as admin using the login button. I entered the Admin and the passcode and It turned green indicating I was logged in as admin...
Maybe you didn't enter admin mode?
How did you enter admin mode before going to tools?

I have a 3635MFP here on which -when I log in as admin- there is no tools menu.
Do you know how I can get my tools menu back-as it worked previously-
