6027 Firmware fails to update - Just says Cancelling immediately

Software download was actually turned off by default. Couldn't find NV Ram reset as the option 'Maintenece' is missing from the menu.

Found it in Tools -> Admin -> Secure Settings

Check that port 9100 is in fact enabled.

If that is fine, you can reset the NVRAM (all data will be lost)

Machine Status > Tools > Admin Settings > Maintenance > Initialize NVM > System Section > Initialize > Yes, Initialize

Failing that, your downloaded file is corrupt, or wrong.

6027 With firmware 1.03... Downloaded the update utility / firmware bundle from: http://www.support.xerox.com/support/workcentre-6027/downloads/enus.html?operatingSystem=win7x64

The utlity starts fine, finds the printer both on the network and over USB and shows the firmware is 1.03 (same as on the printer display). When the firmware update starts, the printer just says 'Download Job' with a progress bar and 'Cancelling...'.

Fresh printer out of the box.

Windows 7 x64.
