From printer webpage notification settings I have opted out the sending the status of " Paper supply is low "
but still sending me the notification by email when opening the paper trays.
In Mail subject, it will mention as
PRINTER # XXXX (7-513.3) Machine is running, but degraded Alert Notification
Kindly advise with a solution.
It should have a timer in the notification like the Jam notification does, but it does not, so you get the useless notification. It can't be disabled. Best option is to set an email rule to "mark as read" and "delete" if it contains that alert
Hello, here to post about the same issue. I was getting numerous copies of these emails in the last couple days while the machine was in heavy use.
Also a Xerox AltaLink C8055 MFP
I recently upgraded the firmware to 103.002.042.33200 (latest at this time), after the machine had largely sat idle since the beginning of the COVID lockdown (so missed about 3 years of updates). This problem only started since doing the "upgrade".
Now as @Uk1987 says, I get an email every time a tray is opened to refill paper.
This is an issue that Xerox's software team should address, as there are legitimate reasons to get a "Machine is operational, but degraded" notification, but not every time a tray is opened.
