We have latest firmware installed last week (because of other problems)
We have now : 072.040.124.23401 on 7845 machines.
New problem, normally if you use the machine, for example scan to mail, and you choose emailaddress and other settings, you scan,...
after one minute the machines returns to all default settings and somebody else can use the machine.
Since upgrade, machine stays all the time on the setting screen where you leave the machine, never resets untill you press the yellow button :(
So again a new problem, EACH firmware upgrade, new problems...

Is de energie spaarstand toevallig uitgeschakeld bij jullie?
Heb namelijk bij een klant het zelfde probleem na een upgrade naar 072.010.124.23401.
Bij deze klant is de energiespaarstand namelijk uitgeschakeld op hun verzoek.
Misschien heeft dit met elkaar te maken?
Xerox already did an ALT-BOOT and reinstalled the same firwarmare again.
After a reboot the problem with auto clear was solved.
Yes we are using the auto-energy-shutdown, but since this version on weekdays we are using the energy modus with fixed timeslots. Because with the automatic energy modus, the machine is sometims stuck in "waking up" from sleep mode.
So I guess theproblem has nothing to do with each other, only a re-install and alt-boot was the solution. (i guess...)
problem is still here, but Xerox told us that there is a patch update release for this issue in the next week.
Known problem with firmware .23401.
Now fixed with new SPAR Firmware release .23405 fresh from last week.
Call Helpdesk and ask for this firmware version specificaly and update the machine from the web page or ask for a Technical Service Representative to go onsite and do it for you.

We're not a fan of testing spar releases who are only one week old.
We know from the past that there are ALWAYS new problems :(
