Still no luck... I tried restarting the printer without the network cable, I've reseated the RAM, we even replaced the electronics module! We have a lot of supplies around for this printer and I would really like to save it. I can get into diagnostics menu but I don't see anything that gives me a clue as to what is wrong. One thing I noticed is the control panel freezes up when I try to clear the PE NVRAM. The PS NVRAM clears fine.
Does anyone have any other ideas?? Thanks so much!!
Hi VickyLC13,
Thank you for using the Support Forum. Please turn the machine off and disconnect the network cable. Power the machine back on with only the power cable connected to the machine. If it powers up normally, turn it off again and reconnect the network cable. Power on again and if it fails try another network cable if that does not work please consider contacting your support centre for further assistance.
Our 8560 has suddenly stopped at 6% warming up during the startup. We have no support contract where I work and I can likely order parts if I know what to order. It hits 5% then 6% and a fan comes on and then the green light next to the display goes out and everything stops responding. Up until that point I can use the display to show printer info and go through whatever options are available.
I have taken it off the network, pulled and tried each stick of RAM individually, and I am able to enter the service diagnostics during the XEROX logo... but there are no fault codes, etc.
HELP! And thanks so much....
