Hoping if the community has an answer. I have a Xerox Workcentre 4265 that is generally causing me grief. The latest one is it's not very vocal about its issues. One I hope to remedy is for it to be much more prominent when there is a paper jam or other mechanical issue. What happens right now is that it doesn't print, it doesn't show an error very prominently (I just saw a small text prompt that disappears intermittently on top saying "Paper Jam in Registration Area" ... go figure what that is, had to go in machine settings and select that error for any detail.
My other photocopier's prompt will change immediately to the paper jam, making it much more obvious.
Is there a better way to announce issues? I know I can let it send me emails when there's a jam, but I feel that's over the top? Is there a happy medium?
