Assuming current firmware (Starts with 101). Select Copy  and log in as admin.

Turn on Suppression (or anything else you may want as a default

Scroll to the bottom and select Customize > Save Settings as Default

In older firmware (starts with 100) I think you had to log into the copier as admin and go to Device > App Settings > Copy App> Set Copy defaults , or at least, something pretty similar.

Automatic Background Suppression

Product Name: AltaLink C8030 / C8035 / C8045 / C8055 / C8070 Color Multifunction Printer
Operating System: Windows 7

Is there a way to turn on this feature as a default in copy mode? I have turned it on in the "Scan to " app, but cant find it to turn on in copy mode.
