unfortunately none of the above configs worked, nor with ip addresses.
actually I'm f*n' tired of fighting with poorly written softwares since IT'S NOT ME WHOSE TIME SHOULD BE WASTED FOR IT.
I understand this is a cheap printer and I shouldn't expect too much but this is a joke, a bad one.
and we still didn't talk about the other bugs.
this is our first xerox, next time I'll try to be more careful.
I don't have more time for this, I accepted that it doesn't function.
Assuming DNS is set so it can reach an NTP server, the easy ones are:
time.google.com port 123
time.nist.gov port 123
Odd, I could not find any reference to manually setting time/date in the User Guide. Only a reference to SNTP as you mentioned. From CWIS I would enable SNTP and just use that. In the US the server I use is 0.us.pool.ntp.org
Make sure DNS is configured.
hi,
believe or not, but there is no date/time option in cwis, nor in printer's menu.
if there is, then it is well hidden.
actually it's not 100% true because there is ntp setup, however I could not find any working setting for it.
if you have a working example then pls share it with me.
thanks
Hello udi111,
On page 45 of the User Guide it says that the that set up wizard should automatically set up the time and date for your device. If you need to adjust it, I would recommend doing that from CentreWare Internet Services (CWIS).
Here is our YouTube Playlist for the B205 device of useful videos that may help you with set up of your device.
Believe that there's no f.n' way to set the date/time in B205 (among many other problems).
I didn't expect too much from this printer but the sw quality recalls the 90s.
